- Acting for LNT Group in the sale of Orchard Care Homes in a management buy-out deal worth £175 million. Orchard Homes was established in 1984 and has a total of nearly 1000 beds across 26 homes, but with homes under construction will result in a group of 56 homes with over 2,200 beds across the north of England.
- Acting for Funeral Services Partnership Limited in relation to equity funding from Aberdeen Asset Managers and a number of acquisitions as part of their ‘buy and build’ strategy in the funeral sector.
- Acting for the selling shareholders of Acorn Home Care on the sale of the Company to Claimar Care Group Plc for an initial consideration of £10,250,000.
- Acting for Eimskip UK Limited (which is part of HF Eimskipafelag Islands, an Icelandic investment group listed on the Icelandic Stock Exchange), when it acquired a 55% shareholding in the Nottinghamshire-based Innovate group of companies.
