Members of our planning team have also advised clients such as NPower Renewables and Energiekontor on the planning aspects of a number of wind farms. Recent transactions include advising:
•· on a range of UK projects to install waste-to-energy plants;
•· on the construction and operation of a 3MW biomass fuelled power station;
•· the Carbon Trust on documentation to be used as precedent documents throughout the biomass boiler market;
•· wind energy consultants and members of a joint venture on a proposed 21 turbine project to be financed by approximately £60 million of bank debt;
•· a plc on a merchant wind turbine arrangement for the purpose of providing up to two-thirds of the required electricity for an industrial site;
•· a university on arrangements for a wind turbine designed to produce approximately half of the university's total power requirements.
