Managing role for Julian
Employment law specialist Julian Middleton has taken over the role of managing partner at the Leicester offices of regional heavyweight law firm Freeth Cartwright.
The firm, which also has offices in Nottingham, Derby and Manchester, recently announced its highest ever turnover figure in its financial year end results for 2006/2007, with the 64-partner firm generating fees of over £31 million, a 13 per cent increase on its figures released at the same time last year.
The Leicester office, which itself has an annual turnover of £4 million, has around 50 staff and, since 1998, has grown to become one of the biggest law firms in the city, advising clients on a range of commercial law issues, from property and construction to dispute resolution and employment.
Julian Middleton commented: “These are very exciting times for Freeth Cartwright. We have just completed another financial year and growth has continued at well above 10 per cent per annum year on year. I hope we that we continue to develop and confirm our position as the major provider of legal advice in Leicester and the East Midlands.”
Julian takes over the role from Robert Rowley, who continues as the office’s senior partner.
