FREETH CARTWRIGHT RECRUITS FOUR OF THE BEST

Law firm Freeth Cartwright, which has recently moved premises and now occupies offices at the prestigious Colton Square development in Leicester, has strengthened its team of lawyers with the appointment of four new people - including one who is making a return.

After two years away from the firm, which she first joined in 2003 as an associate, Mary Mackintosh returns as a partner in the commercial services unit, specialising in commercial contracts and education. Joy Downes has joined as a solicitor in the real estate unit to carry out the full range of commercial property advice.

Medico-legal specialist Robert Rushton joins as a senior associate, having worked post-qualification for a number of firms carrying out defendant insurance work and claimant clinical negligence. Darren Conway, also a medico-legal specialist, joins the team.

Managing Partner Julian Middleton (pictured) commented: “These enthusiastic, dedicated and knowledgeable individuals have all demonstrated the required attributes to join the firm, and the appointments are a reflection of our growing reputation across a number of disciplines.”
