FREETH CARTWRIGHT REAL ESTATE LAWYER NOMINATED FOR TOP PROPERTY AWARD

“Adam Watson goes beyond the call of duty” and is “exceptionally competent” - two reasons why the Freeth Cartwright senior solicitor has been nominated in the Best Newcomer category of The Midlands Property Awards.

adam-watson-small.jpgAdam (27), who works in the real estate unit at the law firm, which has offices in Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Birmingham and Manchester, provides legal answers to Blueprint in relation to issues such as development, financial restructuring and residential matters.

Sustainable regeneration developer, Blueprint, nominated Adam for the award. As John Long, one of Blueprint’s development directors puts it: “Not only is Adam a very capable and professional lawyer, as one would expect from Freeth Cartwright, he goes well beyond the call of duty time and time again - he’s tireless, enthusiastic, meticulous, and always available.

“The effort he puts in is fantastic and that’s why we nominated him. I am delighted he has been short-listed and wish him luck.”

The awards ceremony takes place at the ICC in Birmingham on July 22. Freeth Cartwright is also sponsoring the Regeneration Development of the Year Award at the event, being run by Property Week.

The Best Newcomer category also includes three other leading professionals in the property sector but Adam is the only lawyer.

Adam commented: “I am absolutely delighted. It’s an honour to be nominated by a client for an award that is primarily aimed at people in the property sector.”

Freeth Cartwright’s real estate team regularly features in the top legal handbooks, with Legal 500 describing the team as “light years ahead of the competition” and Chambers noting the firm has “unrivalled regional presence”.
