Freeth Cartwright strengthens Leicester commercial litigation team

Commercial litigation specialist Mukesh Patel has joined the Leicester office of law firm Freeth Cartwright as a partner.
Previously a partner and head of the commercial litigation team at the Leicester office of HBJ Gateley Wareing, Mukesh is recognised in the UK legal guides as having “had significant successes on behalf of clients in the energy and financial services sectors” and is “well-known for his insurance and contractual dispute handling”.
Mukesh commented: “Freeth Cartwright is a dynamic and expanding firm that is committed to the business community of Leicester. The opportunity to move to the firm, with its great offices in Colton Square, was too good to miss.
“There is so much diversity in the caseload I have, which ranges from contractual issues to competition law and actions. I tend to get involved when clients are at having stressful times and need answers to help them successfully reach their commercial objectives.”
Born and bred in Leicester, Mukesh is a graduate of Oxford University, spending nine years at a major law firm in London before moving back to Leicester about nine years ago.
