Freeth Cartwright solicitors work for free to aid charity shop expansion
FREETH CARTWRIGHT SOLICITORS WORK FOR FREE TO AID CHARITY SHOP ENPANSION
Regional law firm Freeth Cartwright has been joined by Massers to aid the development of Headway charity shops by providing legal work free of charge. The solicitors are kindly working up the leases for Headway’s new charity shops, saving the charity thousands of pounds.
Jo Finch, Retail Development Manager for the shops, said “Headway are currently undertaking a development plan of new shops, to take the chain from just seven to around 30 shops over the next three years. Income from the shops will help Headway to meet the demand of their services around the UK, with the ultimate mission of improving life after brain injury.Another objective is to help drive awareness of our charity with a presence on the high street with our charity shops. We will be expanding from just having shops around Nottingham and Derby to also opening shops around the West Midlands and the North West of England. Without the kind help from Freeth Cartwright and Massers Solicitors, the profits we raise from these shops to support people affected by the trauma of brain injury would be significantly diminished.”
Freeth Cartwright’s Kathryn Bryson and Nick Wallace are involved in working on the project.
