In a move supported by leading national law firm Freeth Cartwright - whose Leicester office property partner Richard Osborn managed the legal process free of charge - East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) has opened a new stand-by point for its team of Community Paramedics, at Center Parcs’ headquarters in North Nottinghamshire.

Learners at Leicester College are being given the unique opportunity to apply for sponsorship from Solicitors Freeth Cartwright for development of their business ideas.

All learners studying at the College can enter the dragons’ den style competition with the successful entrants being awarded sponsorship of £5,000. This award will be made annually.

BRITISH WOMEN IN NEW IMPLANT SAFETY ALERT

A French company is again at the centre of a breast implant scandal as tens of thousands of women are warned in a new safety alert. Paul Balen, product liability specialist at regional heavyweight law firm Freeth Cartwright has been acting for women claiming to have been damaged by implants containing hydrogel solution that were banned in December 2000.
