Freeth Cartwright strengthens Leicester employment team
FREETH CARTWRIGHT STRENGTHENS LEICESTER EMPLOYMENT TEAM
Heavyweight law firm Freeth Cartwright has expanded the employment team at its Leicester office with the addition to its team of Fiona Powell who has joined as a solicitor after 4 years in the London office of law firm Bevan Brittan, where she trained and qualified into the employment department.
Fiona advises on and manages all aspects of Employment Tribunal Litigation. Fiona said: “It’s a fantastic opportunity. I’m thrilled to have joined the established employment department here at Freeth Cartwright”.
Julian Middleton, managing partner of Freeth Cartwright’s Leicester office, commented: “I am delighted to welcome Fiona on board - she will be a valuable addition to the Leicester team. The employment department has seen significant growth over the last few years and we continue to go from strength to strength”.
The office has seen further expansion with the addition of two trainees, Rebecca Smith and Lilly Toop. Rebecca is focusing on commercial real estate, while Lilly, who chose the firm as it would be able to offer her a wide variety of different seats over the course of her training contract is currently in Medico-legal.
