PIP ACCUSED BY OWN INSURERS
PIP, the bankrupt French breast manufacturer, was accused by its own insurers as long ago as 2006 of misleading regulators revealed Nottingham solicitor Paul Balen who has been acting for women complaining about PIP’s breast implants for the last 12 years.

The French Government is due to announce later this week whether it will pay for French women who had PIP breast implants to have them removed because of fears that the use by the manufacturers of unlicensed and untested silicone may cause health problems.
