| Recent deals & projects: | Advising a multi-national contractor on the contract for a £302m sporting facility in East London;
Advising a developer in relation to a large scale and award winning "green" development project including photovoltaic roof panels, heat pumps in the adjacent river, wind turbines, and many other such features. Advising various clients in relation to a significant number of BSF projects across the country; Advising a multi-national pharmaceutical company in relation to complex facilities management and construction services provision contracts for its UK estate; Advising various clients in relation to PFI projects in the education, health, housing and fire & rescue sectors, including a number of pathfinder projects; Advising the LEA in relation to a new Academy project in the Midlands; Advising professional consultant clients in relation to a number of projects in Eastern Europe and the Middle East, including contracts for the design or project management of flagship projects for some of the countries concerned; Advising in relation to a number of LIFT contracts, including a framework contract under which a contractor can be appointed in relation to a number of different LIFT schemes in different PCT areas; Advising in relation to a number of complex process plant and equipment contracts in the manufacturing, pharmaceutical and distribution sectors, including waste water treatment and product sorting as well as contracts to deal with more bespoke processes; Advising a University client in relation to a number of new buildings, including a science park as well as purely academic buildings; Advising in relation to a number of MoD PRIME contracts for works at bases across the UK. |
