Printing and Packaging
We have many years experience in advising printing and packaging companies throughout the country on every aspect of their business. We are familiar with the industry’s environment and recognise the complex processes necessary to produce a product. We understand that it can be affected by events outside the manufacturer’s control, such as poor or badly organised information/material supplied or sub-contractors who disappoint.
We understand the importance of special relationships with customers – sometimes strong ones built up over many years, sometimes through intermediaries such as a print broker or agent with great potential but possibly little capital leaving an exposure if problems arise.
Print and packaging are capital-intensive industries and we can assist in these transactions. We are experienced in advising on the acquisition and disposal of all types of new and used machinery and have first-hand experience of negotiating with major suppliers.
We are also experienced in acquisition and disposal of businesses, MBOs, MBIs etc and can help to secure finance. Occasionally we can even find a potential buyer through our own client base.
The occasional dispute is, regrettably, part of business life, but we assist in resolving them on our clients’ terms if at all possible. We know that some customers will try to pick holes in any piece of work to try to get money off. We also understand that sometimes, with the best efforts of all concerned, a job may not be as good as one would like. We pride ourselves on being able to tell one type of dispute from the other, take quick and decisive action to recover our clients’ money and to keep their costs low.
