SPORTS
We provide a range of services covering all aspects of sports law and which include:
- Sports-related disputes, contracts including sponsorship agreements, licensing agreements and management contracts.
- Representation of professional sportsmen and women from many different sports.
Our clients include motor sport drivers and teams, race circuits and car manufacturers, footballers, rugby players and cricket clubs, as well as sports governing bodies.
ENTERTAINMENT
We currently act for the largest music promoter in the United Kingdom. Our specialist team also deals with licensing, an area in which we offer considerable knowledge and experience. We have, for example, secured premises licences to permit the holding of festivals at Glastonbury, Reading, Leeds, Winchester and V Festivals amongst others.
Our team also deals with disputes in the public entertainment law sector. In particular in 2005 we successfully represented Reading Festival Limited in the Court of Appeal in relation to a dispute over charges for policing of the festival.
